Gate 27 Line by Line

27.1

Selfishness doesn’t necessarily have to be at the expense of others, and that’s what exactly happens when you’re strong enough to provide for yourself. As soon as such a kind of strength is not there, though, it’s the other person who has to care for you.

27.2

When it comes to caring, there are no limits for you, regardless of whether you’re the nourisher or the one who’s being nourished. However, limits do exist, and that’s what you suddenly realize when energy and resources eventually come to an end.

27.3

There’s a drive inside of you to have more and more from your life. Such a drive, however, will take you in opposite directions according to whether what you find yourself to go through is of real value to you, by nourishing you at any level, or it happens to reduce your quality of life, by destroying your energy and resources.

27.4

A possibility is always there, through the ones you're generous with, to experience what you wouldn't ever expect, whether for good or for bad. So, you'd better practice discernment when it comes to let people into your life.

27.5

Caring for the other by acting in THEIR best interest. That's what is expected from you, whether it's you the one taking care of them, or someone you choose for them. However, that's not the case when you act in YOUR best interest instead. And that's not what is expected from you at all!

27.6

The drive to care is only there when you trust what you’re nourishing through your own energy, time and resources. And trust is only there when you find the caring of value to enhance quality of life. In other words, you have to feel that what you’re making yourself energetically available for is meant to make a difference, whether in yours or in the other’s life, and that only occurs when you don’t need to be cautious, as it’s all clean and clear.
