Regardless of whether you have, for example, the Channel of Initiation defined in your chart and your gift is to initiate others to make the leap from the materialistic-oriented ego’s approach to the motiveless-oriented Higher Self’s perspective or you have the gift, through your Channel of Logic, to come up with those logical formulas aimed at creating a world where we can potentially live in peace and harmony, it is fundamental for you to wait for your unique gifts to be recognized. And the path to get there is to live your Type, by honoring your Strategy and Authority.
Yes, this is easier said than done, I know that well, especially when the channel defining your Inner Authority is half conscious half unconscious or mostly unconscious, thus operating below the level of your consciousness, because it is only through the feedback you get from others that you get to know whether you were able to honor your Authority or not. I mean, what you will get to see with regard to the decision you took, is that either things fall into place, because you correctly honored your flow, or you will find yourself dealing with resistance and frustration, or bitterness, or anger, according to the not-self theme of your Type.
Furthermore, if you also have defined Projector channels in your chart operating in an unconscious way, then it will always be through others’ feedback that you will get to witness whether there was a chance in that situation for your gift to be expressed or, on the opposite, if your gift will be ignored. Whenever you are looking for recognition, here are a few questions that perhaps you might find helpful to ponder. Are they truly interested in what you have to say? Are they paying any attention to that? Is there an availability to take what you’re sharing with them into account and see what can be done with it? Or perhaps is your own truth falling into deaf ears?
It is by observing yourself being in your experience and interacting with others that you will know whether you’re doing the right thing at the right time, and whether you have the right people around you, thus getting the recognition you need to express your own contribution in this world as yourself. And it all starts from joining an experience and/or a relationship correctly.
I understand that for many people this appears to be a catch-22 situation, because, finally, your key to have your gifts recognized is to follow your Strategy and honor your Authority and, whenever the channel defining your Authority works below the level of your consciousness, it is quite challenging for you to know for sure whether you entered into something correctly or not. However, only time will tell, and what you can do in the meanwhile is trusting that somehow things will sort themselves out, because they will in their own time.
You know, as soon as you embrace the HD experiment you are driven to think that each question of yours will be answered, but this is not what living your Design is really about. This is what your mind would like Human Design to be. What living your Design is about, instead, is to live your questions. In other words, what your mind expects from this knowledge is to find all the answers it needs in order to be in control of your life, but what truly matters is not the answers, but the path that leads you to them, by accepting to embrace your questions and to keep them within yourself till you find your own way to them.
